What's behind it
OpenCamperCore is oriented towards concepts that have been standard in the automotive industry for years: standardised bus systems, robust control units and cross-manufacturer communication.
Because the platform is built on open protocols (including CAN, LIN, MQTT, REST) rather than closed proprietary solutions, future devices and standards can be connected rather than excluded.
Security means both here: reliable operation in the vehicle and a system that is not tied to a single manufacturer or service — and therefore remains expandable tomorrow.
